Salt Spring Island Rod & Gun Club was formed in the early 1920's and remains actively involved in fishing and shooting sports. It is one of Salt Spring's oldest clubs.

The club is located at 223 Long Harbour Rd. Club facilities include Trap, 100 yard Rifle Range, Archery, Pistol and 20 yard Indoor Range. Main club house has full kitchen facilities with a separate meeting room available for both member and public functions. The trap range has it's own trap shack.

The clubs hours and shooting schedule is as follows:

Indoor Range Hours: 
- 10am to 9pm, Monday through Sunday

 - Check with the online calendar for events going on. Right now Mondays and Wednesday evenings are archery programs, Tuesday evening IPSC and Thursday evenings Junior Rifle Program.

 Outdoor Range Hours:
 - 10am to 7pm, Monday through Thursday

 - 10am to 5pm Fridays

 - 10am to 5 pm Saturdays

 - Closed Sundays. No outdoor shooting permitted.
 
 - Check with the online calendar for events going on. Right now Wednesday evenings are for Trap 4 - 7pm, Thursdays evenings for Cowboy Action 4 - 7pm. Sundays all day are for Archery 3D.
